We seek a Cannabis Business Manager who has been adversely impacted by the enforcement of cannabis-related laws in Illinois. We are recruiting for a Cannabis Business Manager that is an Illinois resident for five of the last ten years. The ideal candidate will have served in the armed forces with honorable discharge (possessing a DD Form 214) or active duty.

The Cannabis Business Manager is responsible for supporting the Operations team by providing commercial management of existing customer projects/products. The position holder will partner with Business Development, Project Management, and Site Operations teams to successfully deliver solutions for the Company's customers and drive value for the respective Site and Business Unit assets and capabilities.


  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Qualify for Social Equity Status in Illinois.
  • Qualify for Veteran Applicant Status in Illinois.
  • Bachelor’s degree required (or commensurate experience).
  • Demonstrated passion to serving the medical cannabis community.
  • Proven ability to manage teams effectively
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Understanding of accounting principles and ability to interpret financial data.
  • Computer operating skills
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Must not have been convicted of any felony offense
  • Marijuana product knowledge highly desirable
  • Retail experience (5 years)
  • Experience analyzing financial reports
  • Experience in a complex, fast-paced environment
  • Retail management experience
  • Knowledge of retail operations
  • Organization and planning skills
  • Strong operational skills in a customer-service environment
  • Supervisory and team-building skills
  • Ability to pass all required background checks to work with cannabis
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to build relationships
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Working knowledge of business processes and system development
